My Top 5 Favorite TV Shows

So here are my Top 5 favorite TV shows of all time.

1) - Dawson's Creek - I get made fun of a lot for loving this show, but I don't care. I love it. It came out just as I started high school. It was kinda cheesy, got kinda dumb towards the end but I still own all the seasons on DVD. The music was awesome and I even got to go to the spot where it was filmed. I always wanted to be Pasey but I am the Dawson. I don't know why but I love this show.

2) - The Office - I have all the seasons of this show on DVD as well. I think its the funniest show on TV. Steve Carrell is awesome, the story lines are flippin hilarious and the characters are even better. I'm bummed that Steve Carrell is leaving the show but the story leading up to it will be awesome.

3) - How I Met Your Mother - Might be tied with The Office as the funniest show on TV but in my list, its #3. I can literally sit down with a buddy and talk forever about the episodes and incidents of this show. The slap bet, slapsgiving, revenge of the slap, the crazy/hot scale, Robin Sparkles, crazy eyes, the use of the word awesome. The list goes on. God I love this show. I'm excited for how they reveal how Ted actually met the mother. Its going to be Legend...wait for it and I hope your not lactose intolerant because the second half of the word is....dary!

4) - Grey's Anatomy - I have all the seasons of this show too. My wife and I love this show. The story lines got kinda dull there in the middle but they're starting to get really good. And the finale of this last season where they guy was walkin around shooting people...my god...I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Good stuff.

5) - The Big Bang Theory / Friends - This last spot is a tie between Big Bang Theory and Friends. I can't decide between the two. The Big Bang Theory is awesome but Friends has some classic stuff. Too hard to decide so its a tie. Its my list and I can do that.

So there's my Top 5 favorite TV shows of all time. Feel free to leave your Top 5. Yes Indeed!

1.) Seinfeld--I'm from NY and this humor suits me well. I can think of more of these episodes then any other TV show ever and enjoy reruns of this even when I know the punchline. Didnt start really watching tv shows until this one. Still #1 and don't know who could ever take it down in my book

2.) The Sopranos-I'm not one for drama because my life has been filled with plenty, but this show was like made for me or something. I grew up on gangster movies and this is like the ultimate as its not only slick and wise on so many levels but its funny as hell and the central plot is psychology, which is what I went to school for and what I want to do with my life. Lorraine Bracco won awards playing Dr. Melfi, Tony's psychiatrist and if you can treat big Tony you can treat anyone. Plus I got alot of insight into my Italian family especially why we do things the way we do things and feel so strongly about life. il mio amore

3.)It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia-this show is Seinfeld on crack so of course I love it. I look foward to nothing else that is on TV these days, this show will get me to laugh out loud within the first 10 minutes everytime. I love the characters, know people like this and sadly have thought like these people do many times because ya know..I'm an alcoholic-and I can see the humor in that

4.) Frasier has been a show that I pretty much started watching when I watched Cheers as a kid. Relationships, psychiatry, alcoholism, family and the pacific northwest. The writing was great and there was nothing better than watching these over educated snobs stumble at things that we all stumble at, plus dude from Saratoga, NY.

5.)The Simpsons-I would say South Park but as they would say "Simpsons did it". There is nothing on TV as consistently funny and as clever. They have covered just about everything and done it really well. Everybody knows Homer Simpson and has a favorite episode.

Honorable--Beverly Hills 90210 the original-every teen drama since is a rip on this, Sex and the City was one for the ladies--which its about time as men have been sexist on tv for too long until these women came through and put them in their place- Fresh Prince of Bel-Air the one and only Will Smith that I loved-show was funny and such an 90's representation of our generation.
