Top 5 Christmas Movies

So in light of the holiday season, here are, what I think are the best Christmas movies of all time.

1) - A Christmas Story - If you don't agree with this then there is something wrong with you. There are too many things to reference that make this movie the best for Christmas.

2) - The Santa Clause - My Dad took me to go see this in the theater when it came out. I was 10. And I still watch it every year. Good laughs, a good story and just a great movie for Christmas.

3) - Elf - Will Ferrell is great in this one. A really funny movie with not really any raunchy humor. A great movie even when you don't watch it around Christmas. But, try to save it for the holiday's because it makes it that much better.

4) - National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - So many things go wrong around the holidays. Money, work, family, decorations, accidents and this movie has them all. Chevy Chase is perfect in this movie and it is hilarious.

5) - Scrooged (A Christmas Carol) - So A Christmas Carol has been remade a bunch of different times. So it makes the list at #5 and the one I chose is Scrooged. Bill Murray puts a great spin on the Ebenezer Scrooge role and the movie is really funny with a modern day appeal. Great movie for Christmas.

Honorable Mentions - A Nightmare Before Christmas - It's a Wonderful Life - How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the original version) - Love Actually - Home Alone

So there's my list and it's always subject to change. Let me know if I forget any good honorable mentions. MERRY CHRISTMAS...yes indeed.

Well there must be something wrong with me because although a Christmas Story is a good movie, TBS has ruined it for me and and it doesnt hit home at all for me, my list would be:
1.) Elf-This has all the Christmas favorites and it is Will Ferrel's best role outside of Old School. Plus spending every Christmas in NYC since I can remember has added to my feeling that there is no place like NY at Christmas
2.)Home Alone-This movie was classic to me as a kid and even more so now as Joe Pesci and Maucaly Caulkin (the best child actor ever) have fun for not one but 2 great movies
3.) Lampoon Christmas-This hits was Christmas is in so many homes-crazy ass families
4.) Charlie Brown's Christmas was always around when I was growing up so I will lean on that one here
5.) Polar Express in Imax 3D is one of the best ever in Imax 3D

Honorable-My favorite Christmas Carol--The Muppets Mane! Of Course there is Miracle on 34th Street and Die Hard

1.) A Christmas Story - Agreed! Something is definitely wrong with you if you don't like this movie! This is a classic xmas movie & never gets old to me. Filmed in my homeland of cleveland!
2.) Elf - To many great quotes from this movie to list! If 24 hrs of A Christmas story were ever to be replaced (lets hope not) it would be Elf!
3.) It's A Wonderful Life - My heart breaks for him every year as I watch him do the right thing and only to be knocked down again and again. I always cry at the end when George is surrounded by all the lives he changed! :) So cute!
4.)Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas - First of all with Dr. Seuss you can't go wrong! A feel good message!
5.)The Original Christmas Classics - Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Frosty the Snowman. Yeah I liked them better when I was younger but it's not christmas unless you watch them every year!
