My NEW all time Top 5 movies

Ok, I was looking my blog entries and came across my first one and it was my Top 5 movie list of all time. And I need to make some changes to it because there have been some new ones that came out and my list needs to be updated. So here's my new and improved Top 5 Movies of all time!

1): Good Will Hunting - Has been and will always be my number one!

2): Forgetting Sarah Marshall - I can identify with alot of stuff in this movie. Maybe not the Hawaii part and dating a movie star part but a bunch of other stuff. And he wrote it himself. Good good stuff!

3): Deathproof - I think one of Tarantino's best! Everything was setup so perfectly and they're is some great music in it....right Ellen?

4): The Dark Knight - I saw this movie twice in theaters and it was well worth it. Heath Ledger was phenomenal and the story was original too! Thank God that Christopher Noland came out with the new ones to redeem the Batman movies after Batman Forever and Batman & Robin practically murdered them.
5): Star Wars: Episode III - Most people will say that it doesn't even compare to Empire but the Lightsaber scene at the end was phenomenal and we get to see him turn into Darth Vader...I mean, cmon!

Leave your All time top 5 in the comments!

Top 5 movies of all time*
1.) Shawshank Redemption-only movie to choke me up every time and Morgan Freeman's best movie, some good quotes "Forget that... there are places in this world that aren't made out of stone. That there's something inside... that they can't get to, that they can't touch. That's yours.",
"Yeah. The funny thing is - on the outside, I was an honest man, straight as an arrow. I had to come to prison to be a crook", "find I'm so excited, I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it's the excitement only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain. I hope I can make it across the border. I hope to see my friend and shake his hand. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams. I hope",
"Remember, Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies." and my favorite "Get busy living, or get busy dying".

2.) Dazed and Confused- one of the best soundtrack's ever, as well as classic Matthew Maconahay before he turned to Maconagay,Aerosmith tickets!!!check ya later!!!!!

3.) Goodfellas-Scorcese's best movie in my opinion, the most fun I have ever had watching a gangster flick, Bobby D, the whole sequence of Henry and Karen walking into the Copa--never seen anything shot like that ever in movies-it was beautiful

4.) Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas-Johnny Depp playing my favorite author Hunter S. Thompson, Benicio Del Toro and an awesome cameo by the king of unnecessary inappropriateness Gary Busey, some of the best quotes ever in movies:
"One of the things you learn from years of dealing with drug people, is that you can turn your back on a person, but never turn your back on a drug. Especially when it's waving a razor-sharp hunting knife in your eye, "Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow. But he won't know what to make of your blinker signal that says you are about to turn right. This is to let him know you're pulling off for a proper place to talk. It will take him a moment to realize that he's about to make a 180 degree turn at speed, but you will be ready for it. Brace for the g's, and fast heel-toe work", and of course my all time favorite "We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into locked a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon".

5.) Darjeeling Limited--great Wes Anderson movie about 3 brothers trying to reconnect and have a spiritual experience and as in some way we are all searching for spiritual experiences this movie is fun and entertaining as it looks at some of the desperate and stupid things people can do to feel connected to that spiritual flow in the world.

* I reserve the right to change the order or add new movies as if you have seen the way I look.....I forget!
